Bringing In A New Year

*Thomas helped us ring in our first new year as parents by helping us celebrate with some friends from the Michigan area. We had about 15 guests (including kids) over to celebrate the arrival of the new decade. Thomas didn't make it to midnight (he went to sleep around 7pm), but he did enjoy playing with the kids the following day, as most of our guests stayed to watch the big Buckeye Rose Bowl victory. 2010 will most assuredly be a great year for the Harp family!!

*On Sunday Jan 3rd, Thomas enjoyed his first NFL game in person as the Bears came to town to play the Lions. The family was fortunate enough to be able to go down on the field before the game. Thomas enjoyed sitting on the field and looking around at all of the people. Despite all of the strangers and the loud noises, Thomas was extremely happy throughout and we stayed all the way through the middle of the 4th Quarter (it helped that he took a power nap in the 3rd quarter). The Bears won 37-23, so Thomas left the game happy!
