July 2011

July was a month of more travel and time with family and friends. The family went to Columbus to see both sets of grandparents, including a visit to Great Papa and Great Grandmoms Harp. Both Great Grandparents enjoyed the boys' visit. Cousin Kevin Beery's wedding was fun as well. Both boys were very well-behaved at both the wedding and the reception. Lance enjoyed being held by everyone, and Thomas enjoyed playing with Cousin Lauren and running around with the other kids.

Mommy and Daddy enjoyed a 4 day getaway in Napa while the boys stayed with the Grandparents in Ohio. As usual, everyone had fun staying with the Grandparents. Mommy and Daddy enjoyed California wine country and a few days away as well!

On July 31st, the Harp boys enjoyed their first Tiger baseball game. It was a memorable game in many ways: the weather was perfect, Daddy grabbed a fly ball, the Tigers won 3-2, and the family got to meet all of the Detroit Lions quarterbacks. The boys had a great time watching the game, eating, playing in the suite with their friend Addy.

Lance is crawling and had started to pull himself up. He is the world's fastest crawler...he can get across a room in no time at all! He still has 8 teeth, continues to eat well, and sleeps through the night pretty consistently. A great baby!
