Lance turned 9 months old this month, and he continues to grow bigger and stronger. On August 17th he measured 29 inches long and 22lbs, 3oz. In comparison, Thomas measured 29 1/4 inches long and 20lbs, 13oz at 9 months. In summary, Lance likes to eat. He's also starting to take some steps, with the help of his walk-behind toys. He is getting so big, so fast!

Thomas took a big step this month by moving into his Big Boy Bed. After a few rough evenings, he settled in and loves his new bed. He is very proud of himself and brags about it often. Mommy and Daddy are proud of him too!

Thomas and Daddy also spent much of the month taking swimming lessons at the local YMCA. Daddy was very proud of Thomas throughout the course. He listened to the teacher, kicked his legs very well, learned to grab onto the side of the pool, and got progressively better at putting his ears and head underwater. Thomas kept up with the two older kids in his class and received good marks from Miss Jackie. Daddy and Thomas both look forward to continuing swimming lessons in the future.
